ANAWALT -
A pair of convenience stores in McDowell County were broken into about a month apart, but the crimes are similar in execution.  Now Deputies with the McDowell County Sheriff's Office are asking for help from the public to bring the cases to a close.

Both of the break-ins happened in Anawalt.  The first was at the Riverside #2 convenience story.  That was on Wednesday, Jan. 16.  The second was at Sissy's Stop and Shop on Monday, Feb. 11.  In both cases the ATM's had been broken in to and tobacco products were stolen.

Anyone with information on the crimes is asked to call the McDowell County Sheriff's Office as 304-436-8541.
