Emergency responders were called to the scene of a train accident on Monday, May 20. A person was apparently hit by a CSX train in a remote part of Fayette County. The call came in at around 1:30 p.m.
The victim was apparently covering her head with a blanket to shelter from the heavy rain storms.

Authorities at the Beckley Correctional Facility are searching for a missing inmate. Joshua Greenwood was reported missing late Monday night. Guards say he was unaccounted for in a 10:15 p.m. head count.

RUPERT -
An investigation into a meth lab in Greenbrier County leads to an arrest on Monday, Feb. 11.
Greenbrier County Sheriff's Deputies took Justin Taylor, 31, of Rupert in to custody on Monday evening. He is charged with one count of manufacturing a controlled substance.
Investigators were following up on a stolen property case when they discovered the meth lab. They also recovered the stolen property at the residence.
Taylor is being held at Southern Regional Jail without bond.
