Morgantown, WV -

"I like to go shopping, I like to sing, I like to dance." Mashala, 9, is all girl.

In her red sparkly skirt and silver sequin shoes, she's creating the perfect Valentine's craft at the Wow! Pottery Factory. And while she's working, we found out more about her. Like, she wants to be a model when she grows up. But not just any model.

"A super star model," she said.

She certainly has those Tyra Banks eyes, and hair that can go curly or straight! But she's not all beauty, she's brains, too. "I like math," she said.

Mashala is a soft-spoken child, who is looking for a loving home with older siblings or where she is the only child.

"If you had the perfect mom and dad and brothers and sisters…how would they be?" I asked her. "Good," she said. "What else?" "That's all."

Good, it's a simple word, but it describes the home Mashala is looking to bring her heart to.

"Why do you want to find a family?" I asked her. "So I can go home," she said.

We just found out three children that have been featured in our "Finding a Family" segments have recently been matched with families! Congratulations to those children and their new parents. If you'd like to adopt Mashala or any other child in the Mountain State, call Mission West Virginia, at 866-CALL-MWV. Or you can send an email to adopt@missionwv.org.
