Deputies make four drug arrests in Wyoming County

It was a successful weekend for the Southern West Virginia Violent Crime and Drug Task Force in Wyoming County as they made a string of arrests on Friday and Saturday.

It began on Friday, Feb. 15 as law enforcement officer and Wyoming County Sheriff's Deputies got a search warrant and raided a home in Pineville.  Three arrests were made and all of the suspects were over 50-years-old.

The suspects include Bobby Moore, 53, of New York.  He was charged with three counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Felony Escape from Raleigh County.  Moore is being held on a $150,000 bond from Wyoming County.  No bond was set for the escape charge.   Donald Lester, 52, and Melissa Lester, 51, both of Clear Fork were each charged with Possession With Intent To Deliver.

Investigators found 120 pills and $2,000 at the residence.

Then on Saturday, Feb. 16, Deputy J.W. Clemins arrested Chase Justice, 24, of Oceana.  Justice was charged with Cultivation Of Marijuana.  Deputy Clemins found the marijuana in the home while he was looking for another person on a probation violation.
