NEW ORLEANS, La. -

The Concord University men's track and field team had three individuals named to the 2013 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Atlantic Region indoor team this week.

Representing the Mountain Lions were R.J. Anderson in the 60-meter dash, Jeff Fertig in the high jump and Robby Peters in both the 3,000-meter run and the 5,000-meter run.

Anderson had the 22nd fastest 60-meter time in the nation at 6.85 seconds. Fertig's top-clearance of 2.06 meters was good enough for 17th in the nation while Peters ranked 30th in the 3,000-meters (8:23.15) and 49th in the 5,000-meters (14:50.84).

The top-five from each region in individual events and each member of a relay ranked in the region's top-three have earned the all-region distinction for this season.

The NCAA also announced the field for the 2013 Indoor National Championships Tuesday. Anderson missed qualifying for the championships by just 0.01 seconds in the 60-meters. Fertig also missed earning a trip to Nationals in the high jump by only one spot.
