Emergency responders were called to the scene of a train accident on Monday, May 20. A person was apparently hit by a CSX train in a remote part of Fayette County. The call came in at around 1:30 p.m.
The victim was apparently covering her head with a blanket to shelter from the heavy rain storms.

Authorities at the Beckley Correctional Facility are searching for a missing inmate. Joshua Greenwood was reported missing late Monday night. Guards say he was unaccounted for in a 10:15 p.m. head count.

An accident that shut down the West Virginia Turnpike on Monday, March 4 left one man dead and traffic backed up as the southbound lanes were shut down.
59News has confirmed that Jared Wellman, 22, was killed in the crash that only involved one car. It happened at around 6 p.m. near the Ghent exit of Interstate 77.
All four lanes of the highway were briefly shut down. There were no other injuries reported.

Dispatchers tell 59 News that one person is dead after an SUV rolled over on I-77.
It happened just after 6 p.m. Monday on the southbound side in Ghent, according to state police troopers in Raleigh County.
All four lanes of the interstate were briefly shut down, for about an hour.
There were no other injuries reported.
The identity of the victim is not being released, until all family has been notified.
