911 dispatchers confirm a stabbing has occurred at the Beckley Plaza on Friday. It happened around 5:30 p.m. Friday. No word on the victims and the conditions of the victims. The Beckley Police Department
A man is being hailed a hero in Raleigh County. A tattoo parlor owner saved a pregnant woman Friday night when her ex-boyfriend tried to kill her and her baby inside of the Beckley Plaza mall.

Here in Raleigh County, fighting huge fires just got a lot easier.
The Beckley Fire Department just got a brand new fire truck thanks to your tax payer dollars. And check this out! It has a 105 foot aerial ladder. Fire fighters say the new truck was very much needed.
And not only will this help fight fires but it will also be a huge tool for rescues.
"You can reach more windows with the longer ladder," said fireman Coughlin.
Fire fighters said money from a recently passed levy funded the new truck.
