West Virginia State Police with the Beckley Detachment arrested a convicted sex offender on Monday, March 11 for stealing a car.
According to a release Timothy J. Combs, 32, of Arnett was wanted as a fugitive from Williams County, Ohio where he was indicted for Grand Theft of a Vehicle. He allegedly stole the car in January.
Combs is a registered sex offender who live in Raleigh County. He was convicted on a charge of incident liberties with a minor in 2001 in Alexander, NC. The victim in that case was a 15-year-old girl. Combs must register where he lives for the rest of his life.
He is being held in the Southern Regional Jail until he have be extradited back to Ohio.
