Emergency responders were called to the scene of a train accident on Monday, May 20. A person was apparently hit by a CSX train in a remote part of Fayette County. The call came in at around 1:30 p.m.

Teamwork between two police agencies half a state apart helps to bring in a pair of wanted men.
Antonio Ward, 31, and Joseph Reeves, 28, were arraigned in Mercer County on Monday, March 11. They accused of multiple crimes out of Huntington for an incident that took place on March 2.
Ward is accused of attempted murder, malicious wounding, kidnapping and first degree armed robbery while Reeves is charged with kidnapping, first degree armed robbery and malicious wounding. The two men are suspected in a stabbing that was reportedly drug deal that went bad.
Officer McPherson with the Bluefield Police Department was the arresting officer. Ward and Reeves were taken to the Southern Regional Jail after their arraignment.
