A man is still on the loose after stealing 2 cars right from the dealerships.
Police say Taylor Richmond from Lewisburg was test driving a 2000 Volkswagen Jetta from Greg Lilly Auto Sale in Beckley last Friday but never returned!
They say he left a note at the dealership with his cell phone number saying he wanted to buy it.
Then on Sunday he test drove a 2002 Denali at Wobo Motors in Oak Hill and disappeared again.
"His intent obviously was to never return the vehicle and keep it. I want to put the local car dealers on notice, it appears he's targeting local dealerships that don't have a lot of employees," said Beckley Police Detective Gant Montgomery.
Two warrants are out for his arrest. Beckley Police and Oak Hill Police are charging him with felony grand larceny.
