    The West Virginia Wilderness group has been fighting three gas companies for months, who want to put a pipeline in Pocahontas County .Lauren Ragland is the founder of West Virginia Wilderness and said the pipeline does not belong in Pocahontas County.

Beckley Police arrested a pair of men who allegedly beat up an elderly man on Thursday, March 14. 

Bryan Bolt and Jason Wickline are accused of attacking an 89-year-old man.  They face charges of Malicious Wounding and Conspiracy to Commit a Felony.  According to the criminal complaint the two men punched the victim and stomped on his chest.  The elderly man was taken to Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital was a cut over his left eye, a bloody eye, a possible broken nose, a cut lip and marks on his chest.

There is no information at this time on what lead the men to attack the 89-year-old.  Both Wickline and Bolt are fathers. 

Bond was set at $100,000 each for the two suspects, but Wickline's bond is on hold because he was in probation for another crime.
