Emergency responders were called to the scene of a train accident on Monday, May 20. A person was apparently hit by a CSX train in a remote part of Fayette County. The call came in at around 1:30 p.m.
The victim was apparently covering her head with a blanket to shelter from the heavy rain storms.

Authorities at the Beckley Correctional Facility are searching for a missing inmate. Joshua Greenwood was reported missing late Monday night. Guards say he was unaccounted for in a 10:15 p.m. head count.

WYOMING COUNTY, WV -
A fight between a boyfriend and girlfriend in Wyoming County ended with her being axed and left clinging on to her life.
50 year old Lenora Ellis was flown to CAMC and is still in critical condition. Police arrested her boyfriend, 46 year old Tracey Stewart.
Neighbors told 59 News the couple was in love and they say their violence comes out of no where.
"Something like this I never thought was going to happen. I know they do have arguments and quarrel but as far as going this far, no I never would have dreamed it would go this far," said neighbor Delmas Toler.
Stewart is charged with attempted murder and malicious wounding. He's currently in the Southern Regional Jail.
The investigation is ongoing and Oceana police say more charges could follow.
