A stair-climbing competition will be held from 8 a.m. to noon March 23 at Marshall University's football stadium to benefit the American Lung Association.

There is a $25 non-refundable registration. All funds will be used to fight asthma, COPD emphysema and lung cancer through education, community service, advocacy and research.

The event is sponsored by Al Med, Suddenlink Media and Clear Channel Radio.
