Williams completed the 10,000-meter run in a WVIAC Championship qualifying time of 39:23.53 to place sixth and break Chelsea Callaway's previous CU record of 40:42.14 that was set in 2010.

The Mountain Lions' 4x200-meter relay team, consisting of Casey Ord, Lydia Powell, Donnie Kirk and Demi Kirk, posted a new Concord record time of 1:45.53 to place 19th.

In individual competition, Ord met the conference championship qualifying standard of 13.60 seconds in the 100-meter dash when she turned in a time of 13.10 seconds to finish 68th in the 154-women field.

Micalyn Miller came in 16th place in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at 12:23.37 to lead a trio of Mountain Lion runners that qualified for the WVIAC Championships in the event. Miller was joined by Tabatha Whited (12:36.80) and Bethany Carroll (13:05.91).

Ashleigh Taylor totaled 3,372 points in the heptathlon to register a 16th-place finish.

Concord returns to action March 22-23 at the High Point Invitational.
