911 dispatchers confirm a stabbing has occurred at the Beckley Plaza on Friday. It happened around 5:30 p.m. Friday. No word on the victims and the conditions of the victims. The Beckley Police Department
A man is being hailed a hero in Raleigh County. A tattoo parlor owner saved a pregnant woman Friday night when her ex-boyfriend tried to kill her and her baby inside of the Beckley Plaza mall.
Fayette County deputies say a house went up in flames in Fayette County. It happened Wednesday in the Victor area on Saturday Road, around 5:40 p.m.
Deputies say while crews were trying to put out the fire, 50-year-old Ralph Bostick, of Victor was interfering.
He is now behind bars at the Southern Regional Jail, pending arraignment Thursday. Bolstick is charged with obstructing a firefighter and public intoxication.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
