People in Greenbrier County don't mind the spring snow

QUINWOOD -

Almost everyone in southern West Virginia woke up to a blanket of snow Monday but people in Greenbrier County always see a little more than other areas.

People in western Greenbrier County didn't seem to mind the frozen spring shower.

Roy Butler from Georgia said, "I don't like the snow very much but I'm here and it's pretty, it's beautiful."

Andrea Gardner said, "I liked it at first but I'm getting tired of it, definitely ready for spring."

Quinwood definitely got the bulk of the storm overnight.

Now, people are digging the shovels back out but they actually don't seem to mind.

Christina Sparks said she loved shoveling on Monday.

But she also said, "I want spring to come, love spring, so we can sit outside."

While Quinwood usually comes in first for snow totals, there are parts of eastern Greenbrier County that can get quite a load too, like Williamsburg.

On Monday they had about two inches of accumulation.

That might not be the story Tuesday after another round of snow rolls through the region Monday night.
