Runway 23 shut down at Yeager Airport after plane lands without landing gear

According to officials at Yeager Airport, a 1970 Twin Engine Piper Navajo aircraft has landed without the use of landing gear at about 11:00 a.m.

The plane landed on runway 23 and officials have closed the runway until the plane can be cleared.

Crews are preparing to remove the plane.  The plane is owned by Air Photographics Inc.

According to the president of Air Photographics Inc., they received word the pilot of the plane is okay.

No injuries have been reported.
