    A nationwide debate is taking place after an unarmed black teenager was shot and killed by a white police officer in Ferguson, Missouri .Ferguson cops were given body cameras by two companies after allegations have been made against protesters, who are outraged by the shooting.Soon police around the country could be wearing body cameras.

UPDATE:

59 News Crews spent all day in court to get the details of a bond hearing for an ex-coach and teacher who is facing charges of sex crimes against students.

A shackled Jonathan Kirk walked passed his family into Judge Swope's court room with the hope he would turn in his orange jump suit and get to go home.

59 News first told viewers at Kirk's arraignment bond was set at $100,000, cash only.  What that means is Kirk would have to pay the full amount in cash, not just a certain percentage. If Kirk could not pay the cash, he would remain in the Southern Regional Jail until his criminal trial.

59 News heard from Kirk's family his defense would ask for a lower bond.  59 News cameras were not allowed inside Judge Swope's court room.  Judge Swope would not allow cameras in his court.  But 59 News spent all afternoon in court to hear the courtroom drama unfold.

The defense said Kirk's family scraped together all the cash the could.  But it was still not enough to pay the $100,00 cash only bond, to free him from jail.

Judge Swope showed no sympathy about the high bond. He expressed concerns about several outcomes that could happen if Kirk was allowed out on bond Suicide, Skipping town and finally would society be protected?

The judge said if this case is to go before the June grand jury, "no reason to bond him out." Judge Swope said he would only consider lowering bond if the June deadline was not meet or if the defense provided a plan that would address all of the courts concerns.

Judge Swope concluded, "he is going back to the southern regional jail." Kirk left court in shackles and his family in tears.

Former PikeView High School teacher and coach was back in court on Thursday, March 28.  His defense was asking for a reduction in his $100,000 cash bond.

59News was at the hearing and Judge Swope had some harsh words for the defense.  Judge Swope denied any reduction in Kirk's bond.
