BECKLEY -

Between now and April 6th if you donate 10 books to Operation Paperback at Boggs Chiropractic Center in Beckley, you will receive a free office visit from Dr. Boggs, up to a $175 value.

Boggs said the books received will go to our troops serving far from home.

"Many troops overseas don't have the comforts of home and having a good book can help them pass the time and not feel so homesick. It's just a nice thing to do for the troops to show we care for them," said Dr. Boggs of Boggs Chiropractic Center.

Operation Paperback is a non-profit organization that collects gently used books nationwide.

They send them to American troops overseas. Since 1999, they have shipped more than 1.9 million books to locations around the globe.
