HINTON -

Summer County 911 reported sometime throughout the early morning of Sunday both lanes of Route 20 re-opened.

Both lanes of Route 20 in Hinton are closed and an excavator is stuck in a mudslide.

The mudslide was first reported to Summers County 911 around 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

The Department of Highways and Brayman Construction Corporation are working to pull out the sinking excavator at the top of the mudslide. After that, they will be working to stabilize the mud, water and rocks that are sinking.

DOH advises everyone to take alternate routes and they are re-routing traffic on scene.

They hope to re-open both lanes by Sunday morning.
