Weather Causes Delays in Southern West Virginia

Mercer County Emergency officials are asking drivers to avoid a problem spot this morning.

Due to flooding and rain, Princeton Fire Department is asking drivers to avoid Stafford Dr. Rain moved through early this morning, causing water to rise and cover the trouble spot.

In Summers County, rock slides were also reported along Route 20 outside of Hinton. Crews responded quickly clearing the roadway. It is open for drivers at this hour.

Drivers across the region are being asked to watch for debris as they head to work and school this morning.
