LEWISBURG -

Greenbrier County sheriff's deputies re-arrest a man charged with murder.

Sheriff Jan Cahill tells 59News deputies picked up Anthony Lee Ramsey Wednesday morning at a home in Lewisburg, without incident.

Ramsey, 51, of Alta, is accused of fatally shooting Brian Meadows, 25, of Talcott, after a fight.  It happened at a mobile home in Asbury.

Ramsey was being held in the Southern Regional Jail without bond at the time of his release.

"We were fortunate he didn't try to get free," said Cahill.

Leaders with the regional jail said they received an order from magistrate court to release Ramsey, which court officials denied.
