Local hospital gives thanks to their employees

GREENBRIER COUNTY -

A local hospital took advantage of today's enjoyable weather and gave thanks to their employees.

Thursday in the front lawn of the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, the CEO held a cookout to tell his employees he appreciates them. He also recognized one of them and gave a $200 check to the Employee of the Quarter, Steve Gross.

"We are having a spring picnic and an Employee Recognition today. It's nice warm weather so we like to do a few events throughout the year just to say thanks to our employees and physicians," said Paul Storey, Greenbrier Valley Medical Center CEO.

Greenbrier Valley Medical Center's next Employee Recognition day will be during the State Fair in August.
