Another possible meth lab shut down by Beckley Police

The makings of a meth lab are found at a home in Beckley.

Beckley police say they searched a home on Edwards Street, Monday night.   The search was part of an ongoing drug investigation. The materials used to make meth were found in the basement.

Jeorge James Lozovoy, 27, of Pittsburg was charged with delivery of a controlled substance. Police suspected he was selling methamphetamine from the home.

The Beckley Fire Department and the Environmental Protection Agency were called in to secured the home because of the potential of dangerous chemicals inside.

Lozovoy is in the southern regional jail on $30,000 bond.  According to a news release there will be additional charges against Lozovoy.

The Beckley Police Department was assisted by the Raleigh County sheriff's office and West Virginia State Police.
