A Rainelle Man Spends Night in Jail After Threatening Neighbor

A Greenbrier County man is facing a laundry list of charges after threatening a neighbor.

Michael Dallas Mitchell, 52, of Rainelle was picked up on First Street Tuesday afternoon.  Police say he walked into another person's house with several knives and started slamming chairs, threatening to stab the homeowner.

Mitchell is facing charges of public intoxication, brandishing a deadly weapon, trespassing while armed, and disorderly conduct.  He is being held in the Southern Regional Jail, awaiting a court hearing that is set for later today.
