Geno Smith fires agent

An unhappy football player is making changes.

In published reports released overnight, Geno Smith has released his agent. The move comes after the former WVU quarterback was drafted in the second round of the NFL Draft Friday night to the New York Jets.

Smith said in an interview last night that the firing wasn't because of the whole draft experience or one particular incident, but a number of things. He will now have to wait five days according to league rules to hire a new agent.

The New York Jets football team isn't without drama. Earlier this week, the team released quarterback Tim Tebow.
