Officers with the Beckley Police Department are on the look out for a pair of suspects in an armed robbery investigation.  The two people are believed to have held up Ms. Alice II, a video lottery parlor in Beckley on Eisenhower Drive.

Detective M.G. Bragg explained this isn't the first time a lottery parlor has been robbed. He said criminals often think of these parlors as easy targets with a ton of cash.  But he said that is not the case, "many of these establishments have installed new cameras that cover every angle of the parking lot, and the internal, the inside of the business is covered very well. and they have also have established procedures to keep small amounts of cash on hand instead of large ones," Det. Bragg said.

Police have the following descriptions of the suspects. The first is a white man who is 5-feet 9-inches to 6-feet 1-inch and is 32 to38 years old.  The woman is 5-feet 4-inches to 5-feet 7-inches tall and 25-30 years old.

The two people are considered to be armed and dangerous.  As always when this is the case, if you see them, police say not to approach them.

"Obviously robbery in and of itself, just in it's description is a violent crime and the fact there was a fire armed brandished we would consider these people dangerous to go these lengths in general," Detective M.G. Bragg said.
