A pair of men who were arrested on a laundry list of charges after allegedly beating up a Beckley woman were expected to appear in Raleigh County magistrate court on Wednesday, May 8.

Alfred Pittman and Damien Totten were scheduled for preliminary hearings in front of Magistrate Tomi Peck. The two were arrested back in March after breaking into an apartment on Hager Street.  They allegedly beat up Shannon Wilson in front of her children.

The two are accused of Robbery, Burglary, Kidnapping and Malicious Wounding.  Damien Totten's hearing was rescheduled.  Magistrate Peck found probable cause in the case for Alfred Pittman.  His case will now go to the Grand Jury in September.

Pittman and Totten are being held in the Southern Regional Jail.  Their bond is set at $500,000 each.
