WHEELING, W.Va. (AP) -

A federal judge has rescheduled arguments over a plan to move the mother of a missing child from Wheeling to the Clarksburg area.

Lena Lunsford's lawyers say publicity about the disappearance of 3-year-old Aliayah Lunsford has made her mother a "social pariah" in north-central West Virginia.

U.S. District Judge John Preston Bailey has set a new status hearing for 2:30 p.m. May 21 in Wheeling.

Lena Lunsford was freed from a federal prison earlier this year after serving eight months for welfare fraud. She was placed on one year of supervised release.

Federal probation officials now want to move her, and Lunsford is opposing the relocation.

Her lawyer says she's been living at a YWCA, attending West Virginia Business College and working at a pizza shop.
