HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) -

A former secretary will spend at least a year in prison for embezzling from the Barboursville Volunteer Fire Department.

Mary Elizabeth Taylor also must pay $91,000 in restitution.

Media outlets report that Taylor received a one- to 10-year sentence Tuesday in Cabell County Circuit Court. She had pleaded guilty in March to felony embezzlement.

Taylor was accused of embezzling from the fire department between July 1, 2009, and May 10, 2011. She was fired in July 2011.
