The WVU baseball team is in Oklahoma City right now doing what they can to help during the aftermath of the tornadoes.

The road to Omaha starts in Oklahoma City.  The Big 12 tournament is held at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark that's located just miles away from the deadly tornado.  The Mountaineer baseball team was not in its path but did its part Monday to contribute to the relief efforts.

The team managed to get a practice in, but after practice, the team took the team bus to Walmart to get clothes and supplies for those affected.

"If this is all we can do to help we are going to try to do it," said Coach Mazey.

Due to the destruction the tournament has been postponed until Thursday when the Mountaineers will take the field against Kansas.

Red shirt Sophomore Harrison Musgrave was named Big 12 Pitcher of the Year.
