Fayette County Emergency Services told 59News that the Dollar General Store in Oak Hill was robbed Sunday night.  It happened on Jones Avenue.  Dispatchers received the call at 11 p.m.

The Oak Hill Police Department, Fayette County Sheriff's Department, and the West Virginia State Police responded.  According to dispatchers, police were on the scene in less than two minutes after the clerk called 911.

The suspect was reportedly unarmed when he grabbed cash out of the register and then ran away.  Dispatchers said the suspect is a white male and has sandy colored hair.  He was last seen wearing blue jeans and an orange shirt.  He is around 6 feet tall.
