Billy Joe Gill will go before a jury of his peers in July.  Gill is charged with First Degree Arson and two counts of Attempted Murder.

The charges against Gill come from a fire that was set at a home on Fifth Avenue in Hinton.  That house belongs to one of Gill's relatives.  It happened on Feb. 26, 2013, the same night that a fire burned down the Brick Row apartments on Temple Street in Hinton.  Gill was originally charged with arson for that fire too, but that charge was dropped without prejudice.  The Summers County Prosecuting Attorney told 59News that the cause of the fire on Temple Street was never determined.

Gill's trial is set to begin on July 9.  Watch for the updated on the trial here, on Facebook and on 59News.
