OAK HILL -

If you see a man walking along the street in a bright yellow t-shirt this week, he's not doing road work or looking for a ride.

Tom Knopp is continuing his journey through the entire state of West Virginia to raise awareness about hunger.

He started walking in late April and will be finishing up his goal to hit every county by June 23.

He said his message is simple: hunger is everywhere.

"A lot of people are closing their eyes to the need, it's all around us if you just look around, you could have a neighbor that's in need and you're just not aware of it," Knopp said.

Knopp said the best way to help the cause is simply go to your local food pantry and donate whatever you can.

You can catch him walking through Greenbrier County Thursday and Mercer County on Friday, June 14.
