All lanes back open on WV Turnpike after truck fire

Emergency officials in Fayette County have confirmed a truck fire in the southbound lanes of the West Virginia Turnpike on Friday. The West Virginia Department of Transportation's web site has confirmed that all lanes were back open only hours after the fire was put out.

The call came in shortly after 5 a.m. near the Mossy exit at Route 612.  Crews with Pax Fire Department responded.  They were able to clear the scene at 7:50 a.m.  The driver was not injured.
