Bond set for two accused of operating a meth lab

Update: After being arrested for operating a meth lab, Derrick Couch and Holly Couch's bond has been set at $50,000.

Two people were arrested late Saturday night after an anonymous tip lead Greenbrier County Sheriff's Deputies to an operating meth lab on Belltown Road in Quinwood.

Sergeant Martin and Deputy Solitro went to the home in Quinwood and saw what appeared to be a meth lab just outside the house that had been utilized recently.

The Sheriff's deputies went into the house of Derrick and Holly Couch and found materials consistent with the meth lab, according to Chief Deputy Sloane.

They were both arrested and taken to Southern Regional Jail.

The Greenbrier County Sheriff's deputies found 4 children ages 7 to 1-month-old, inside the home and they were taken away by Child Protective Services.

Derrick and Holly Couch face charges of operating a clandestine lab and exposing children to methamphetamine.

The Greenbrier County Sheriff's Department was assisted by West Virginia State Police Technicians with this bust.
