UPDATE: Armed robber still on the run in Raleigh County

The Raleigh County Sheriff's Office is looking into an armed robbery that took place in Glen Daniel on Tuesday morning.

Emergency dispatchers told 59News that there was a report of a robbery at the Family Dollar.  Deputies were sent to the scene at around 9:21 a.m.

Deputies said that a white man in a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a camouflage mask came into the store with a handgun and demanded money from the clerk.  The person at the register gave the man money and the suspect ran off.

Sheriff's Deputies were assisted in the search for the suspect by a canine unit from the West Virginia Division of Forestry.  No arrests have been made yet, but the case is still under investigation.  No one was hurt in the incident.
