FAYETTE COUNTY -

With 40,000 Boy Scouts coming to Fayette County next week one emergency services crew is unveiling their big plan to keep scouts safe.

JanCare ambulance service has committed 12 additional ambulances to the summit. The remainder of their fleet will serve the 9 other counties, intending not to disrupt service to the community.

"From across the state we had to cover 275 extra shifts of ambulance work during these 10 days so all of our personnel has come together to produce a schedule that will meet the Boy Scouts needs while providing coverage in our primary areas," Jan-Care Director of Emergency Services, Paul Seamann said.

Additional beds at Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital and Plateau Medical Center will remain open and saved for potential injuries from the Jamboree.
