Update:

Police are looking for a suspect or suspects in an overnight shooting on Barbour street in Beckley. Chief of detectives Dave Farley says one woman was shot in the shoulder while she was inside her apartment around 11:30 p.m.

He said the shooter was outside and shot at the building 17 times. The shots came into the woman's bedroom.

The woman's father, Tyrone Harbin, identified her as Tara Harbin, 22. He said she is in the hospital and on her way to making a full recovery.

"The first thing that came across my mind was is she dead or alive... that's a scary feeling right there when it can go through a wall and attack a person, go through a building and injure a person like that," said Harbin.

Farley said there was also a man and the woman's baby inside the apartment at the time.
