    A sentencing hearing was held on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014 for a Raleigh County man who pleaded guilty to illegally selling Oxycodone. In May, Gene "Butch" James, 44, of Crab Orchard admitted to charges of Distributing Oxycodone.

Several people were injured after a multiple car crash in Raleigh County.  Raleigh County Emergency Dispatchers told 59News that possibly three cars crashed on Route 19 in Daniels. Dispatchers said they received the call around 5 p.m. Tuesday evening.
 
The Beaver Fire Department, Raleigh County Sheriffs Department, Jane Care and Best Ambulance crews responded.  According to dispatchers, emergency crews were still on the scene as of 5:45 p.m.  No word on what caused the crash or the extent of the victims injuries.  Stay with 59News as we continue to follow this breaking story.
