An organization helping children facing sexual abuse will be holding a golf tournament to support the work of their child advocacy center.

The Just for Kids, Inc., Second Annual Golf Classic will be held Tuesday, August 20th at Grandview Country Club.

Founded in 2002, Just For Kids, Inc. works with hundreds of children from Raleigh, Fayette and Wyoming Counties to provide a repsonse and support team to kids alleging criminal child abuse. All of their services provided to families are free.

Only half of the group's funding comes from State and Federal sources, along with this tournament with individual and corporate donations, vital to the functioning of Just For Kids.

The first place team prize will be a round of golf (including carts) at the exclusive Snead Course at The Greenbrier Sporting Club.

Second place team prize is a round of golf at The Stonewall Resort in Roanoke, WV.  Third place team prize is a round of golf at Grandview Country Club.

Other prizes will be awarded for longest drive, closest to the pin and a new car for a hole-in-one.

"This tournament is a way to spread the word about the work we do and raise needed funds for the children we serve." said Brad Limer, Chairman of the Just For Kids Golf Tournament Committee. "We want the golfing community to understand the importance of providing a safe and friendly facility for children who are experiencing the trauma of child abuse"

To register for the event,  please contact Just For Kids, Inc. at 304-255-4834. Team registration is $300 for a foursome.
