In it's 10th year, New River Community and Technical College School of Practical Nursing will celebrate 44 new graduates from the program.

The graduates will receive their nursing pins at the tenth annual pinning ceremony. The guest speaker will be Aila Accad, RN, MSN, President of the West Virginia Nurses Association. New River President L. Marshall Washington and Beckley Campus Dean Carolyn Sizemore will present greetings, and the program will be hosted by Joyce Egnor, RN, MSN, director of the nursing program.

14 of the students attended classes at the Nicholas County Campus in Summersville; 15 at the Greenbrier Valley Campus in Lewisburg, and 15 at the Beckley Campus.

This is the first time the ceremony has been held in Beckley at the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center.
