Visitors have come from all around the nation to see and to show the hottest cars around.

It's the 10th annual Friends of Coal Auto Fair in Beckley. From Florida to Ohio, people can't wait to show off their souped up vehicles. One girl proudly showed off her parents 800 horsepower Pontiac. Her dad told 59News this is their 6th Friends of Coal Auto Fair and he told us all about his precious commodity.

"We went from 400 horsepower to over 800. It's a lot of engine work. What else have you done? Not too much on the outside, but we had the wheels triple-chrome plated and some detail work done," John Riffe said.

Their family travels cross-country for as many auto fairs as they can, and Lauren Riffe shared with us what else she's excited for this weekend.

"The food is good, the rides are very fun. The rock climbing wall is awesome, the people here are very nice. It's just a lot of fun here," Riffe added.

As with any Auto Fair, there's no shortage of classics, customs and motorcycles, but at Friends of Coal, there's much more to see and do.

"It's a family event for us, we plan for this for months and months. All of the families come out and sit and have fun and enjoy all the cars that come out," Stephanie French told us.

There's a Cruise-In from Uptown Beckley, movie night, concerts, competitions as well in typical fair fashion: amusement rides, carnival food and a flea market. French told 59News how Beckley's Fair compared to other Auto Fairs across the nation.

"This is one of the largest one. We do every single show that Beckley has and this is by far the largest and one of the most well organized ones." French added.

Friday's activities continued with the Cruise-In from Uptown Beckley, Jada Vance's concert and a showing of Disney's "Wreck-It Ralph" on the lawn. This all takes place at the YMCA Paul Cline Memorial Sports Complex.
