According to a Press Release by Sheriff Steve Kessler, the Fayette County Sheriff's Office is searching for two suspects involved in an armed robbery in the Mahan Area.

The robbery happened early Saturday morning at the Sunoco convenience store at around 1AM according to Fayette County Emergency Services.

The suspects reportedly fled from the scene in the direction of the West Virginia Turnpike.

Deputies spoke with a clerk at the Sunoco who described the suspects as a white female with blonde hair and multiple tattoos and a black male wearing a hooded sweatshirt and armed with a handgun. According to the cashier the man also appeared to have a large growth on the side of his neck.

The man forcefully told the cashier to give him all the money in the drawer or he would kill him.

The cashier gave the man all the money in the cash register and fled with the white woman in a mid-size vehicle that might have been a Ford Taurus.

The incident remains under investigation by the Fayette County Sheriff's Office.
