UPDATE:

The Dodgem' Cars ride is a total loss according to Shawn Wellman, the ride supervisor.  He says that due to the age of the ride and the fact that it was made out of nearly all wood, it quickly went up in flames.  The cause of the fire is electrical.

A security guard is on staff 24-hours and heard the popping in the ride and then saw flames.  He called 911 and fire services were on scene within minutes.  There were no injuries and the park is expected to be back open on Tuesday, minus the Dodgem' Cars.  The age of the ride dates back to the 1940s.
