There's new information Friday, about a McDowell County prostitution sting.

According to Sheriff Martin West with the McDowell County Sheriff's Office, deputies used a confidential informant disguised as a prostitute. The subjects then approached the confidential informant to solicit sex for money in Welch. 

65-year-old Clarence Wayne Belcher and 75-year-old Kenneth Eugene Hillyer were arrested and charged with soliciting of prostitution. 35-year-old Shevone Linda King and 24-year-old Bethel Clairce Baker, were also arrested for verbally assaulting the informant.

The bonds of all four people are set at $100,000 each.
