U.S. Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., will host a Congressional field hearing next week in Morgantown.

Manchin currently is chairman of the Subcommittee on Public Lands, Forests, and Mining under the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources.

The hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Sept. 4 at West Virginia University's Erickson Alumni Center in the Kennedy Club Room. The witnesses for the hearing will be announced at a later date.
