Community reacts to crisis in Syria

Posted: Updated:

With President Obama and Congress' decisions on Syria in the forefront of everyone's minds, many people have strong opinions on the international issue.

59News took it to our community here in Southern West Virginia to find out what you'd like to see President Obama do next.

"I realize that the United States is a peacemaker and probably should help but I don't feel right all the time with us doing all the peacekeeping and no one else doing anything. I thought the United Nations was supposed to step in so I hope they do to relieve some of the pressure off the Unites States," Frank Miller told us.

"I think we better stay over here because there's a lot of problems he should take care of over here first before he decides to go somewhere else," Frank Dameron said.

"I think he just should stay over here and leave them alone. I think we have enough problems in the United States and I don't think he's doing a good job over here," said Tammy Dameron.
