    Emergency crews were called to the scene of a ATV accident, just before 10 pm Friday.According to Fayette County 911 the ATV was struck by a vehicle along the 1900 block of Rt 60 Anstead area of Fayette County.One person was transported by helicopter, to a local hospital for treatment, The extent of those injuries or what caused the accident is not yet known at this time.The Fayette County Sheriff Department is investigating.

FAYETTEVILLE -

More than 100 indictments were handed up from the September term of the Fayette County grand jury.  The indictment list was released on Thursday.

Topping the list of indictments were a pair of murder cases and one high profile sex abuse case involving a school bus driver.  Nearly half of the indictments by the grand jury were directly drug related.

William "Fred" Cody of Fayetteville was indicted for First Degree Murder.  Cody allegedly killed Santanae Byers and dumping her body.  Byers was originally reported missing on Monday, June 24.  Only two days later, Cody was arrested and charged with her death.  Oak Hill Police officers said they found remains match Byers description in an outbuilding on Blaketown Road in Oak Hill.

Another murder case, this time in Glen Jean, lead to the indictment of Matthew Gravley.  Gravley is accused of shooting and killing a person at the Mountain Air Mobile Home Park.  That happened back in April.

Steven Malay, Sr. was indicted on 8 counts of Sex Abuse by a Parent, Guardian or Custodian; 3 counts of Third Degree Sex Abuse and 7 counts of Third Degree Sex Assault.  Malay was a bus driver for the Fayette County School System.  He reportedly has sexual encounters with a 14-year-old girl at her home in Oak Hill.
