    Crews fought a house fire in Fayette County Saturday evening for several hours. 911 Dispatchers said the call came in of a house fire on Paint Creek Road near Pax around 6:30 p.m. Pax Fire Department and Bradley-Prosperity Fire Department responded along with several other crews. We're told no one was inside the home when the fire happened.

Morgantown small business owner, Chris Yura, will join 16 entrepreneurs from 15 states in Washington, D.C. Sept. 17 to talk about small business issues with members of Congress and key White House officials.

Yura, owner of SustainU Clothing in Morgantown, is part of Small Business Majority's Network Council, which is made up of business owners from various industries across the nation who volunteer their time and entrepreneurial expertise to educate policymakers and the media about their issues, which are expected to include clean energy, taxes, access to capital and immigration reform.

This week's trip will mark the second annual Network Council Trip hosted by Small Business majority.

"I plan on listening to my representatives and proposing some ideas on policies I'd like to see coming out of Washington to help small businesses succeed," Yura said in a news release. "Small businesses are the backbone of this country, and we need to work toward solutions that help our companies flourish."

The group is scheduled to spend several days speaking about small business needs with Sens. Kristen Gillibrand, D-N.Y., Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., administration officials and members of the Small Business Administration, among others.
